Presently we have the following positions
Office Manager
We are looking for a very organised person, capable to dealing with multiple staff, and the ability to coordinate several trips on the go at once, from whitewater trips to hot air balloon trips and to ensure the clients experience is seemless from start to finish.The applicant should be able to speak both French and English and other languages such as Spanish and German are also an advantage. The succesful applicant must be comfortable dealing with booking systems, and be trustworthy and honest. In addition to a base pay, a commission sales based incentive will be given, allowing for an attractive remuneration package.
Trip Photographer
We are looking for a talented individual, capable of kayaking, who can shoot quality images both on the river and in our Berber camps for the clients to take home with them after the trip. All photographic equipment will be asupplied along with a laptop for producing CDs of images. All photographers should have extensive outdoor experience and a portfolio to submit with their application.
Guides
From time to time we do require guides to join our river team. We require the following criteria in order for you to apply:
We look for guides who are able to paddle raft, kayak and row. This allows us to change positions in the guide team easily with everyone getting a chance to do their "favourite" job. As a company we have a policy to only employ guides or trip leaders with the following qualifications:
* A minimum of 5 years full time guiding. A CV stating experience and giving at least two referees is required
* For Trip Leaders a minimum of 10 years full time guiding. A CV stating experience and giving at least two referees is required
* A guiding qualification of some sort. This may be from the US, New Zealand or another country, but must be internationally recognised.
* A recognised current Wilderness First Aid qualification. Trip leaders need a minimum of Wilderness First Responder
* A current CPR certification from a recognised body.
* A current recognised Swiftwater Rescue qualification.
* Be able to work in a fun and motivated team on the best rivers in the world.
